If you’re really serious about your radio controlled boats and a simple £20 speed boat just isn’t enough to scratch that nautical itch you’ll probably be interested in this £2,000 rc model of the Cutty Sark.
This model is truly stunning and represents some serious hard work. I’d be hesitant to get the thing wet after spending all that money and time on the craft, but I suppose a boat is made to be sailed.
Our Radio Controlled Model of the Cutty Sark represents one of the last and finest of the historic tea clippers - These beautiful boats “raced” from china bringing the new crop of tea. Our model is stunning. Spread Across 3 main masts the sail area of the Cutty Sark is huge - All the main sails are controlled by the RC equipment and the jib sail (front) can also be set.
This model isn’t for the beginner, that’s for sure. I’ve been into radio controlled models for years now yet it’ll be some before I graduate to one of these.
