I feel the need, the need… for speed!
The Americans love things that are big. They also love planes, particularly military related planes. At Lakeland in Florida, you can find many Americans with some incredibly large RC planes, and naturally being Americans they’ve called it ‘Top Gun’.
So take the highway to the danger zone to Top Gun 2008, and celebrate the 20th anniversary of what is the largest radio controlled model contest in the World.
The show’s organiser, Frank Tiano, said:
This year we have 125 partipants, with 40 hobby vendors and coverage from 35 magazined from all over the world.
When the show has good weather they tend to get 10,000 spectators.
