My RC Models

This is perhaps the greatest thing in the World, ever. A life-size radio controlled R2D2 Astromech droid.

There are loads of guys throughout the World who make these R2 units as a hobby, and even swap tips and advice online. There are loads of websites with advice, schematics and photos of these droids in action; such as www.robotbuilders.net.

I want one, probably more than I’ve wanted anything before… though I imagine I’ve said a few times about a great many things.

It’s a real R2 unit for frak’s sake! How cool is that?
